Making a claim needn't be hard. All claims are handled by Allianz Australia Insurance Limited (or Mondial Assistance in the case of Travel insurance). Service initiatives have been put in place to make the claim process as easy and convenient as possible.

LANDLORD'S INSURANCE
To report a claim 24 hours, call 1300 651 777. To assist, please have your policy number and details of what has happened.
A professional Claims Consultant will discuss the loss with you and determine the most appropriate method to progress your claim. If it is necessary for your claim to be assessed, the Claims Consultant will appoint one of the Allianz preferred Loss Adjusters, who will contact you promptly to arrange a convenient time to visit you.
Fast Track Glass Claims
If you need to lodge a claim for broken glass (windows, shower screens, etc), you can call O'Brien Glass on 131 616. O'Brien Glass is the Allianz preferred supplier for all glass claims.
To assist, please have your policy number with you when you call and details of how the breakage occurred and O'Brien Glass will manage the process for you. Remember, you may have an Excess to pay.

What do I need to do if I need to make a claim?
- Take all reasonable precautions to prevent further loss, damage or liability.
- Contact the police as soon as possible to report any theft or attempted theft, or damage caused by intentional or malicious acts, riots or vehicle impact.
- Report your claim to Allianz by calling 1300 651 777.
- The Claims Consultant will help you through the claim process.
Do I have to complete a claim form?
In most cases no. All you have to do is call Allianz and they will take the details over the phone.
Am I required to get replacement quotes?
For most goods, Allianz will arrange replacement for you - no quotes are required. Allianz will discuss this with you when you call to report your claim.
What documents will I need for proof of ownership?
Purchase receipts, credit card statements, owner's handbooks and/or photographs will assist. Your Claims Consultant will advise you of what is required to help process your claim quickly.
How will my possessions/items be replaced?
Allianz has agreements with national suppliers to replace most items. Allianz will organise
the quotes and replacement of your possessions and do most of the leg work for you.
What should I do if someone makes a claim against me?
- Call Allianz as soon as possible on 1300 651 777 and advise the Claims Consultant of what has happened.
- Try to get names and addresses of witnesses, if any, to the event which has brought about the claim.
- Do not make any admissions of liability and don't attempt to settle any claim made against you.
- The Claims Consultant will advise you what steps you need to take and will assist you through the claim process.

This is a simple one-step process where Allianz will get all the necessary information about the claim and take control of the repair of the car.
To assist, please have your policy number and details of the accident including contact details for any other drivers and cars involved.
The Allianz Claims Consultant will discuss the most convenient method for arranging the repair process and if required, assist you in selecting the most suitable and conveniently located repairer. If your car cannot be driven, Allianz can arrange for it to be collected and delivered to the repairer. If your car is driveable, you simply drive your car to the repairer on the agreed day. Allianz will advise you of the claims process and answer any of your queries.

What should I do if I have an accident?
Here are things you can do to make it easier to settle your claim quickly:
- Record the name, address, licence number and insurer of other drivers involved along with the registration numbers of their vehicles, if possible.
- Try to get names and addresses of witnesses.
- Notify the police as soon as possible.
- If your vehicle is undriveable and you have comprehensive motor vehicle cover, arrange for it to be towed to a place of safe storage.
- Keep the details so that you can advise Allianz of where you vehicle is located .
- Report your claim to Allianz 1300 651 777 and a Claims Consultant will assist you through the claims process.
What should I do if my vehicle is stolen?
- Report it to the police.

Will I have to pay my excess?
You need to contribute your excess if you are responsible for the accident or you cannot provide the name, address and registration number of the responsible party.

Do I have to get a quote for the repairs?
No. Using our Managed Repair Process, all you need to do is drop off the car on the agreed date and Allianz will take care of the rest so that you are back on the road as soon as possible.
Will my No Claim Bonus (NCB) be affected?
Your NCB will only be affected if you are responsible for the accident or if you cannot provide the name, address and registration number of the responsible party.
Allianz does offer the option of paying an extra premium to protect your no claim bonus, even if you are at fault. The Claims Consultant can confirm whether you have selected this option and if it applies to your claim.
Can I use my own repairer?
Yes, you most certainly can choose your own repairer. Allianz also has a list of Repairers - in most areas - that it is happy to recommend.
